This is an Autumn/Winter streetwear collection inspired by working-class fashion and the council estate. Through looking at the history of the tracksuit and the sociological ideas of conformity and stereotypes I created a collection inspired by often the most disregarded social group in fashion. The idea of this collection is to understand more about what makes a community and how being part of a social group can influence what you wear and buy. Through heavy branding and prints inspired by children’s futures and materials inspired by sportswear, I created a collection that focuses on bringing out the best in lower-class fashion.
